Frequently asked questions

Will it connect to my broker?

Not automatically, not yet. You enter positions and trades by hand or by import — the upside is that you see your whole portfolio across brokers in one place.

Is this investment advice?

No. SALDAT shows data and your own numbers; it does not recommend what to buy. The decision and the responsibility are always yours.

How often are prices updated?

Prices are loaded from public sources when you open or refresh the overview. This is not a tool for second-by-second trading, but for keeping an overview of your portfolio.

What are 13D/G and 13F, exactly?

Mandatory filings to the US regulator. A 13D/G is filed by anyone acquiring a large stake in a company; a 13F is filed quarterly by large asset managers about what they hold.
